And what’s left now?
We haven't realized it yet
the plague we bring.
So this is what we get, a world that lies poisoned.
Burning acres of forests, countries turned into deserts
and some remain indifferent or even deny
even deny this bane. Mass extinction on us.
On top the food chain an apex predator
rise and fall in an existence dedicated to contamination.
Years of progress and changes nipped out by human greed
thousands of species massacred by an nameless terror.
Plastic oceans grow, our planet dies
a disease called human being.
What will we leave behind?
What legacy for our sons?
At least we’ll pretend to try
to try, to change somethings
Or we’ll let ourselves die
in a cold indifference.
We’ll let ourselves die
in a cold indifference
Drag the world, down with us.

Day by day I watch this world becoming dust,
sometimes I see in black and white and always darker.
So sick of the fake smiles and days spent with no purpose.
Are these the people I should be building relationships with?
All that remains are ruins of an emptied life.
Crucified between saints and sinners.
Something broken that’s left always broken.
All that remains are ruins of life.
Feeling that sometimes seems almost like a shadow by my side
I will carry this cross every single day
until the trial and beyond if I must.
Another day ends, another chance to fail.
Searching for something more, searching for something worse
The burdens you carry you will never get rid of it.
This world is falling apart always faster.
You live your life too fast, cutting away day by day
It doesn’t matter you drown in a fucking regret.
I learned that everyone hides their scars
or a knife behind their back.
I’ve experienced if I can trust someone around me,
the answer was always the same.
Time for the second chances is over.
I have given up.
