Plastic oceans grow, our planet dies

What will we leave behind?

Day by day I watch this world becoming dust,
sometimes I see in black and white and always darker.
So sick of the fake smiles and days spent with no purpose.
Are these the people I should be building relationships with?
All that remains are ruins of an emptied life.
Crucified between saints and sinners.
Something broken that’s left always broken.

Feeling that sometimes seems almost like a shadow by my side

until the trial and beyond if I must.

I learned that everyone hides their scars
or a knife behind their back.
